XFly for IoT and Embedded Development

XFly for IoT and Embedded Development

The XFly drone offers an exceptional platform for embedded development projects. Although designed as a drone, it’s powered by the versatile ESP32-C3 microcontroller, enabling you to use it as a general-purpose development board for various projects. This tutorial demonstrates how to leverage the XFly’s components—such as LEDs, motors, sensors, and GPIOs—without focusing on its flight capabilities.

Why Use the XFly as a Development Board?

    1. Inbuilt WiFi and BLE: Enables Internet of Things (IoT) and Wireless application development.
    2. Built-in LEDs and Motors: Provides an easy setup to experiment with LED control and PWM-based motor control.
    3. Integrated Sensors: Enables projects involving orientation, motion, and tilt detection.
    4. Expandable I/O: Offers additional GPIO, I2C, and SPI pins, allowing you to connect other sensors or modules.
